Well, what's wrong with exposing false teachers? These are people who prophecise prophecies that didn't come true. Then they go round telling people they are men of God. Tell me, will non-believers believe such a God? It's utterly wrong testimony they are giving to the unsaved.

Me me me, Benny Hinn... sigh... though there are so miracles at his crusade, I can't say much of the man except to say he is a false prophet.

False prophet: Someone who predicts some events in the name of God and yet no results.

Mind u, I am from a Charismatic church, but I cannot condone the way he losely use the name of the Lord in vain. I have one particular prophecy in mind when I say that (in case u think I am accusing him falsely). He said sometime in 1990 that God will "destroy" all the homosexuals and that Fidel Castrol will be assinated in the decade. These were not well documented and even recorded. It's 2005 now and, bro (sis??), the homosexuals are even more vocal now then ever and Castrol is still smoking Cigars in Havana.

If he is living in the Old Testament days, he will be stoned! It's by the grace of God that he is still standing today! How can a man of God use God's name in vain? Does God make mistakes? No way! So what does it make Benny Hinn to be? A false prophet.

The bible says in Matt 24 "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect."

A man of God cannot be mishandle God's word or His name loosely. He will lose it's credibility. No one ones to cause division in the body of Christ. Quarreling amony believers is not good, but if one have to stand up for the authourity of Scripture, we have to take a stand! We have to expose the error so that no one will be deceived or continue to be deceived.

I pray that there will be more discernment among believers so that they will understand and appreciate the intentions of people such as "WooQ".

Do not be smart in your own eyes or be blinded by words of ur leaders. Let the Word of God be your teacher. Let it be the final authourity for all things. Test them, don't accpet everything just because it's labelled "Christian". I pray that many eyes will be opened.

Soli Del Gloria!

i'm not saying that this guy is wrong. i'm saying that why must he target certain issues but not ALL issues?

we must test all things and not be blinded. this i agree. pls do not accuse people.

but it's really funny to see ppl like wooq to just wiki things that he is against and not wiki his calvinism thoughts.

isn't it strange?

Me,

Did u feel offended by my reply that u think I am accusing u? I am sorry if u think I am accusing u. Or are u telling me not to any how accuse Benny Hinn? For that I do not apologise coz I am just stating documented facts.

I am not a calvinist, but I tend to favour the preaching of the reformed theologians because of their high regard to the Word rather than subjective things that are commonly preached by charismatics.

cowardice maybe?
hurhur.

good that a secular source can provide information from a worldly perspective. done in a journalistic fashion, which i honestly see nothing wrong in because it still compiles facts.

thanks beowulf for compiling this whole list of good readings.

and we all face criticisms in life. when they do come,

deal with it.

reflect on your mistakes and do the necessary.

or alternatively, you can continue in your ways and keep insisting that youre ALWAYS right.

and continue to live in your perception of what is "true".
